As the opening ceremony pitcher, Sungjae expressed his gratitude for being able to pitch for both teams. He put his nervousness aside as he told reporters that he'll try his utmost best to throw a good pitch like he's practicing for.
In addition to pitching, Sungjae will hold a special event called 'Thermos Day' with the game attendees. Currently, Sungjae is the spokesmodel for 'Thermos Korea'.
