what does "pretends to be realistic but isn't" mean?

I wish they would do a direct adaption, but that may be more CGI than Korea can handle right now. I will probably struggle my way through it even if I don't like it just because I want Nam Joo Hyuk to succeed.

bride of the water god as in the manwha?

i'm pretty sure i'm going to happily watch this.. really anticipating this drama.. all 5 casts are good ones.. <3

I'm not sure if I'll be watching. I loved the manga (or manghwa) to death, but it's an adaptation, not a direct direct translation. I'll give it a shot tho

Really love Se Kyung's performance in Six Flying Dragons. She really put a lot of effort in portraying this brave and courageous young woman, Boon Yi,  who captured the heart of the main lead. I was very impressed  with her sophisticated but yet not overbearing acting skills when she slapped Yoo Ah In's face at the very beginning of the drama when she told him how poor her villagers were.  Very moving and captivating performance ever! She had indeed picked up lots of positive compliments after Six Flying Dragons. Good luck and keep on fighting!

I want to watch the drama because of Krystal but she just play the minor role......but thinking again i would not watch this drama because of the heroine would Shin Se Kyung.......i don't really like her because her acting really is sucks, most of her drama didn't go well....i will search for the Manwha though.

i wonder how they're going to play the child form of ha baek... will they actually use a kid for that ( - _ - ) ...

Chrysantheneum gt3lt_kpop Wednesday, May 24, 2017

I don't think they will do so. It's already confirmed they won't do a direct manhwa-to-play, but are adjusting the story to fit in the 21st century. I think it's going to be Goblin or You who came from the stars

Yeah, feel the same.

Wow, this is exciting news! The manhwa is amazing. I can't wait to see it brought to life on tv. Looking at the description of the characters though, are they going to change the setting into modern times instead of sticking to the historical/fantasy universe in the comics?

Chrysantheneum Ryen Wednesday, May 24, 2017

Yes, they are fitting it in modern times.

it seems Krystal is focusing on the career path of an actress, different from that of her sister as a singer. With Luna (solo debut), Victoria (successful actress in China), Krystal (acting), and Amber (solo debut), i wonder if fx would actually get back as 4. Victoria did drop something about a comeback but there is no word from SM confirming it, so i wonder if the comeback is a solo debut by her or maybe even a solo debut in China, since i heard its revealed by her chinese side on weibo and not on instagram which is more "global". so victoria may be debutting as a chinese solo singer in china? Hope to see fx as a group and having a comeback later this year. hope the "curse" dont be fall on them as it did to a lot of girl groups this year.
