JYP Entertainment reassured fans that TWICE's comeback was well thought out.

The girls are debuting in Japan in June, and with TWICE's comeback on May 15, fans had been worried that a Korean comeback was being rushed to fit their Japanese schedule.

However, JYP Entertainment said, "It's not that we suddenly decided on their Korean promotions just to fit right before Japanese promotions. Starting from the beginning of the year, we had been planning their Korean comeback in May, their Japanese debut at the end of June, and their Japanese debut showcase in the beginning of July. We've been planning it for a while, so we're not in a hurry and it's not being done in a hurry. TWICE is preparing without any problems for their Japanese and Korean promotions."

Those girls are gonna look like the zombies from the LOA MV before the end of August.

Luxorris ShayMin Wednesday, May 3, 2017

They already look brainless.

TWICE IS JYPe second breadwinner after 2pm and they are gonna be gone soon and not tour for awhile which is what rakes in big bucks for the company. SO now its twice's turn to take the lead & work aka .... ka-ching

ND01 kpoplolita Wednesday, May 3, 2017

It's actually 2pm,Suzy,Got7 then Twice.

Winston ND01 Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Well that was for 2016, last I heard, Miss Bae Suzy hasnt renewed with JYP and is still considering to renew or form her own agency, so right now she is a free agent, and 2PM is about to go army soon, one by one, except for Nickhun who is a foreigner, so they wont be promoting as a group for several years. so it may be GOT7 and Twice making the income, with their concert tours and album sales. I think Twice seems to have more CFs than GOT7 though.

kpoplolita ND01 Thursday, May 4, 2017

as of 2017 suzy is a free agent like winston said and her income contribution to JYP hasnt been updated yet. Last i read on AKP for THIS year, was 2PM and then Twice followed by got7. still its no surprise suzy got JYP lotsa $$$

ND01 kpoplolita Thursday, May 4, 2017

I know that Suzy isn't with JYP anymore and I was just mentioning the income for JYPE in 2016. I'm sure that things will change now that Suzy left the company and Twice is also having a lot of CFs and korean and japanese promotions. I guess we will just have to wait and see who gets the most profit in 2017. Also can you please provide a link for 2017 because I haven't read that article.

kpoplolita ND01 Thursday, May 4, 2017

sorry i read it a couple of weeks back it april. it might have been akp and soompi or soompi

Hottest2PMKhun Wednesday, May 3, 2017

They need the money now, what with a huge loss coming in because 2pm will not be touring for a while now. The need touring money coming into the company. But honestly this is not a new thing, whenever a group is marketable and profitable, they will be overworked... i understand that twice will have a rough road ahead now, but we must also aknowledge that groups before them have also been overworked and milked out like 2pm, got 7 - i dont think wonder girls, 2am  and miss a toured a lot though

TWICE has began their TWICELAND Tour with Bangkok and Singapore as their first few overseas stops, and more to come, I think they may increase the stops by next year, and I believe one of which should be Tzuyu's hometown, Taiwan. but they may not want to risk creating more "scandals" with China, as it is the China-Korea "THAAD" backlash is already affecting a lot of kpop, and a visit to Taiwan by TWICE now may fuel more hate, which JYP probably thinks its not worth it, maybe when things cool down in China over the THAAD, and the new S.Korean president steps in and have talks with China over it, the situation may improve and kpop groups including those from JYP can do tours in China as well.

Promotions did not overlap but their health is already on the line. They must let the girls rest first. From their promotions in TT then Year-end performances, concerts, to knock-knock, and then world tour concerts, and many more continuous schedules. Poor girls. I hope they had a good rest.

Winston Lee_Yann Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Good rest as in 1 or 2 days, I think they do have, its just we dun see it, but "Good Rest" as in a week or so of vacation, sorry, its not possible for a "rookie group" of under 2 years, its time to make money or gain more fame, you can rest at 4th or 5th year. thats the same for all the groups not just TWICE. Strike the iron while its hot, and TWICE is hot now, so its best to work on it.

bsthendal Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Poor girls

Winston Wednesday, May 3, 2017

If i am not wrong their Japanese showcase is scheduled in early July, so their Japan debut maybe in late June. so if their Korean comeback in May 15 has a 3 weeks promotion, it should end in early or mid June, so its still enough time to prepare for Japanese debut.

snsdtwinkle Tuesday, May 2, 2017

No except that they're gonna be freaking exhausted. I just hope none of them end up in the hospital from /insert typical company excuse here/

Winston snsdtwinkle Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Well last Saturday, Apr 29, Jihyo was still sitting down on a chair, during TWICELAND in SG, and unable to dance, so i hope her injury heals in time for the comeback, and that their MV for Signal, was shot and she was able to take part in it, (make me wonder if she danced in the Signal MV, if her leg is still injured also).

psb1013 Tuesday, May 2, 2017

They're young. They can handle it. Besides, it's better to be busy and relevant than to be ignored and not wanted. There's just too much fierce competition these days, esp. among girl groups to be doing nothing even for a few weeks. If Twice wants to remain on top, they have to keep going full throttle.

Winston psb1013 Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Yeah i agree, they have to move fast, i think after their 4th or 5th year, they can afford to slow down their comeback to once a year. but as for now, they should be doing an average of 2 or 3 comebacks (including repackage or whatever) per year to raise their fandom even further. and do more CFs and such.

razorbladeromanc psb1013 Wednesday, May 3, 2017

PREACH dude! a lot of people here does not know the reality of kpop!

Max_South psb1013 Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Also, people forget that South Korea is (relatively) tiny country, and that Japan is super close to it. It almost takes no time (relatively) to fly to Japan for any promotional event and return back right away.

Winston Max_South Wednesday, May 3, 2017

yeah i think its like a 2hr flight to Japan, like how Running Man, YJS, and Ji Suk Jin and the new girl, So Min,, flew to Osaka on a 9am flight, did their missions and took a 5pm flight back to Korea again, all in a day. and filmed the closing in Korea at night.
