U-KISS's Soohyun and Eli have renewed their contracts with NH EMG!
The label told news outlets on April 26, "Soohyun and Eli have renewed their contracts. They will lead the team as 5 with Kiseop, Hoon, and Jun." They also added that the two members were open to renewal without much changes to their contracts, and showed loyalty to both the label with whom they've been through thick and thin, as well as their fans.
Back in March, former member Kevin's contract with NH EMG came to an end, and he ultimately decided to depart from the group. This year also marks U-KISS's 10th year promoting, after their debut in 2008. Hope to see them comeback soon!

I don't think Eli is in a position that he can leave even if he wants to, because he knows that if he leaves, it's going to be even more difficult for him to sustain his family.

I feel like the wording of this threw some shade on Kevin (not nec allkpop, but maybe how the label presented it). That somehow Kevin is no longer loyal for not resigning. He's allowed to want to do something different? Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sad he's leaving UKISS but that doesn't mean I don't support him. Glad Eli and Soohyun and everyone will still be with UKISS. I'm happy I'll be able to continue to support UKISS <3

wow after kevin left i honestly thought Ukiss' disbandment was futile, but they are still sticking with it and pushing on. I really hope they find success, they really REALLY deserve it
