SHINee's Jonghyun explained how Girls' Generation's Taeyeon came to feature in his new track ''Lonely''.
During 'Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon' on April 26, Jonghyun talked about his collaboration with Taeyeon and revealed, "It's a track that was targeted for Taeyeon noona. She tends to look bright while also having a gloomy vibe. I believed those qualities would melt well into the track."
Jonghyun continued, "I write the melody and the lyrics at the same time. I worked on the track imagining Taeyeon noona singing the part. I felt sorry asking her (for featuring) because noona'spart was so big but I'm really thankful that she happily accepted."
