Returning to the small screen after three years, singer Lee Hyori's new reality series titled 'Hyori's Bed and Breakfast' is receiving much attention prior to its broadcast.

JTBC's new variety show 'Hyori's Bed and Breakfast' will feature the singer along with her husband Lee Sang Soon residing in their peaceful home in Jeju Island as they greet incoming guests at their guesthouse, presenting their day-to-day lifestyle.

Planning to start filming the series next month, the staff began receiving participant applications to stay at Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon's guesthouse via the show's official homepage in the morning of April 20. It reached more than 5,000 applicants in less than a day and also topped search engines. �With that, the staff members are clearly in shock by the explosive feedback.

CP Yoon Hyun Joon spoke to OSEN saying, "We didn't expect such a large response like this. We are both thankful and overwhelmed. �We will decide on the participants once we review all the applications. The reason we chose to select participants is so that we can meet diverse people from numerous backgrounds whether it be friends, family, and couples."

Following, he added, "We hope that the guests will experience a joyful environment while staying with Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon at their guesthouse. �Since there is a limited capacity, only a few teams will be selected. �We are still considering if Lee Hyori's house will be turned into a guesthouse."

Meanwhile, the singer's new reality program is looking to air sometime in June.
