SM Entertainment revealed on March 30 that it has made a strategic investment in Mystic Entertainment, a label headed by singer/song writer CEO Yoon Jong Shin. SME has also become Mystic Entertainment's largest shareholder with an acquisition of 28% in Mystic's shares.

Much like SM Entertainment, Mystic Entertainment is a multi-faceted entertainment label, managing not only artists for music content but also actors, producers, and more. By establishing a business partnership with Mystic Entertainment, SM Entertainment hopes to enlarge its musical spectrum, while also supporting Mystic in its own efforts to grow into a global music label.

Mystic Entertainment's producing team, headed by Yeo Woon Hyuk PD, will also work closely with SM C&C for drama, variety, film, mobile, and web media content.

What do you think of SM x Mystic?

I can imagine Gu Ra talking about this on radio star and making fun of Jong Shin lol

SM extending them connections and influence. Pretty soon everything is gonna be taken over by SM, other labels watch out!

ever since Kyuhyun worked with Mystic for Blah Blah, and even work with them for the Ballad Stage in Gayo Daejun, i was thinking the partnership is going to get closer. maybe taeyeon may be having a collab one day with a Mystic artist?

Everyone talk as if SM is the worst company, in fact they are the best at showcasing every member of their group. Lol

NORM yutrial Thursday, March 30, 2017

"Every member" *cough* Amber & Henry-ish *cough*

yutrial NORM Thursday, March 30, 2017

Amber the fastest sm soloist from debut era, in 2016 has 5 single, variety, youtube channel, she sold 15k for her shit, while tiff sold 70k and seo 30k hence they don't complaining, blame fake meu for not buying her shit, sm is not charity company, they need revenue and they don't find her profitable. Thats all

yutrial NORM Thursday, March 30, 2017

Henry, has 2 ep, variety, Chinese activities, has 3 single on 2016-2017, same with amber, he flopped. Why would sm push someone not profitable?

yutrial NORM Thursday, March 30, 2017

Sm even put a lot effort for amber solo debut, even feature their most well know idol, taeyeon still she flopped. Blame meu for crying why theu didn't gave amber solo bla bla bla, theu gave her an opportunity an everyone slept on her album, what do you want?

my bad then, i thought that cos of their recent complaints but thanks for the info :)

Putting it simply: SM now say yes or no in Mystic. And it's no use saying otherwise, cause it's a fact, they're the larger shareholder and that's it.

Isn't Thunder in Mystic? Now Chanyeol is one step closer to Dara.

I hope that we will see some collabs between the artists of each company!!! Mystic really has great artists!

noraini_zainal_a Thursday, March 30, 2017

I would love to see more smxmystic collaboration

Mystic has some great artists who are sadly under-promoted. Hope this partnership means more exposure to Mystic artists (and a new album from Eddy Kim please~)

It would have been helpful if the article had contained some of the notable artists under Mystic. It's hard to keep track of which agencies all of my favorite k-celebs are in - especially the actors and comedians.
