Big Bang Taeyang's older brother and actor Dong Hyun Bae has also been cast in new KBS2 variety drama 'The Best Shot', after it confirmed the casting of leads Yoon Si Yoon and Kim Min Jae earlier this month.

'The Best Shot' is a youth drama telling the story of a troublesome, popular idol group member Yoo Hyun Jae (Yoon Si Yoon), and an idol trainee Lee Ji Hoon (Kim Min Jae). It's unclear what role Dong Hyun Bae will be playing.

The variety drama is also garnering attention for its production team, headed by former '1 Night 2 Days' producer Yoo Ho Jin, and now actor Cha Tae Hyun, for his first ever attempt at directing a production. Yoo Ho Jin PD asked Cha Tae Hyun for help with 'The Best Shot' since it's his drama-debut, having worked in variety shows all his career, and Cha Tae Hyun obliged after much debate. 

It's been revealed that Cha Tae Hyun will also play a minor role in the variety drama, in the form of a small entertainment label CEO. 'The Best Shot' is aiming to broadcast in May.
