Actor Choi Min Yong explained how he became an actor on KBS' '1 vs. 100'.
When asked about his debut drama, the actor replied, "It was a youth drama titled 'The New Generation Reports Adults Do Not Know'." As for getting the lead role, Choi Min Yong answered, "I got lucky. A senior friend of mine asked me to come over to the studio saying he'll buy me some black bean noodles. So I went to check out the broadcast station, and I ran into the director who cast me in the role," surprising the audience.
He then added, "It was odd how I got the part. I thought I was a lucky person to get cast for my good looks. I am always thankful to my mother because of that."
