But Korea and America weren't the only countries praising KARA! The girls were met with huge fame in Japan, becoming the leading role models of Korean artists in Japan. Sadly after the devastating departure of members Nicole and Jiyoung, KARA had to move in a new direction. That is when 'The KARA Project' was launched and DSP Media created a unique broadcast program where viewers voted for who would be the next member of KARA!

Overall, KARA were definitely pioneers of the Hallyu Wave. They became a cherishable, lovable, iconic group both inside and outside of Korea.
