Recently, IU reached out to fans through her official fan cafe and wrote, "How have you guys been? The weather's very cold. Dress warm everyone." She added, "Should I stop resting and do some work now? It wasn't actually really a break because I've been working hard under the surface. I miss you guys."

She then hinted at her comeback, saying, "Today I'll be recording the song that I love very much! I think this song will become the favorites to many StarCandys (IU's female fans)."
The last time IU released new songs was back in October of 2015 with mini album 'Chat-Shire'. The idol has been actively promoting as an actress since then. Many fans are dearly waiting for her come back on stage, which is expected to occur in the latter half of 2017.
