Everyone wondered why she's reopening something from the past, but it's something that happened to her that was marking and significant in her life. So many want-to-be korean actors and actresses are told to become idols first so that they have a better chance at an acting career, but you can clearly see the struggle in doing something that is not in fact their ideal dream. She should have the right to bring up what happened in the past, not because of whether or not she was a victim but because it's something that happened and is relevant to her, relevant to ALL the members. Why isn't she allowed to still carry that with her? How can one side only be considered innocent when everything was probably misunderstandings and as once said, different views and opinions. What could have been seen as lazy from others was probably Hwa's lack of motivation to keep continuing a fake dream. You can't blame her. The situation is about individuals, she wasn't happy and so something happened. Whether she was the problem or not, something in T-ara had to change so it did. It's so hard to think about what we're going to do for the rest of our lives, as if she wasn't allowed to make mistakes. People are giving her so much shit, let it be. She feels like the victim? Who are you to say she can't feel that way? T-ara members are the real victims? Who are you to say they all aren't? They all were hurt? They all had hard decisions to deal with. Life isn't going to run smoothly. Maybe this whole situation was never about the bully or the victim, but fate.

Why bring it up again when it's been five years? For some, bringing up a massive scandal or fight like that would be stupid. She's reopening something that happened in the past and adding drama. Why would you bring it up if you're that upset? I never really kept up with T-ara but a past member bringing up an incident is kinda fishy. What's her game here? Why bring up the past when you know yourself, it didn't end well for the entire group members.

Everybody talks like they're an expert but the only people who REALLY know what went on are the Tara members and Hwayoung herself. I've liked Tara even before the controversy and I honestly think Hwayoung should just have been an actress. Tara was already well established and had an actor, it was really all the CEO's fault. But if anybody's been in an argument or a fight, they know that there are always two sides. It's the undeniable truth that Hwayoung wasn't as hurt as she always claimed to be (from the pictures of her walking fine by herself and then suddenly latching onto bodyguards when there was a big crowd shows that). It's also true that Tara left petty jabs at her and her attitude on their twitters, all coming together to publicly criticize her. However, the feelings and words that were exchanged between all of them, the possible "jung" (as we koreans call it which isn't REALLY friendship but more like a closeness or a "i'm used to you" feeling that runs really deep), and most of all the way they really separated whether on okay terms or on bad terms; we don't really know. Since they've been very ambiguous about it and have somewhat moved on I don't think we'll ever really know. The point is everybody should stop being blind supporters of one side without even knowing what really went on. If they make you uncomfortable or you don't like them then turn a blind eye towards them and move on. Alot of people who hate Tara call them bullies but they turn around and do the exact same thing without even knowing what the real truth is. Pretty hypocritical.

*rapper not actor

youTaeyeonOMG Thursday, February 2, 2017

it doesn't matter anymore, people only care about is T-ara should disband ASAP, becoz 6 members of T-ara this talentless group are too ugly and too lousy !

vvhale Thursday, February 2, 2017

Oh, boohoo. She needs to move on.

queenbetchreturn Thursday, February 2, 2017

no one cares about tara anymore

tyneexxx Thursday, February 2, 2017

the person who ruined T-ara

_Jarhon tyneexxx Thursday, February 2, 2017

They ruined themselves. If you're a fan, you're not helping the girls at all saying something so thoughtless

AJLie tyneexxx Wednesday, February 15, 2017

T-trash ruined themselves by being a bully bitches

tyneexxx AJLie Wednesday, February 15, 2017

yeah and now that snake ryu got herself bitten by her own mouth

AJLie tyneexxx Friday, February 17, 2017

no, T-trash did

_Jarhon Thursday, February 2, 2017

I truly wished that she'd actually be honest about it, but every time its some watered down nonsense. It's so pointless to bring it up if you can't take a firm position and clarify things.

minivilly _Jarhon Thursday, February 2, 2017

Exactly my reaction to this

Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

Okay can someone tell me the full detail of what happened  pls ? I was here when this controversy happened years back then but lol as a 12 year old I wasn't interested in all the scandals and etc

Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

I mean I know this all discord among members and bullying each other stuff or whatever it was. But dang it's soo confusing

_Jarhon Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

So the story goes that because she got added later to T-ara, the others never accepted her. Being an "outcast" is a big thing in Korea and they get bullied really harshly. There was bunch of SNS posts from other members saying she lacked "determination" and shortly after she got fired from the group. Then the shit storm hits. Netizens link the other member's tweets bad mouthing her to her getting fired and other industry people claiming she's a nice kid and the CEO was just trying to bury her, which monumentally backfires. Basically everyone ever sides with hwayoung and the CEO makes the ultimate mistake of just trying to ride it out, not understanding how big of mess it is, fans start to make hate posts, there's shit tons of hate articles, all members get cancelled from their CFs, companies demand reimbursements, Eunjung gets written off from her drama, T-ara becomes biggest outcast in kpop world. Takes them years to get even small gigs in Korean tv. still they're hated, even 6 years later.

_Jarhon Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

All of that is somewhat of a "story" though. Only thing we know for a fact, is that T-ara members did leave really petty fucking tweets about hwayoung when she was injured. That deserved some hate, but not to this extent.

Zee_Queen_of_War Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

There was never any bullying, that was a story the media went with based on a misunderstanding

unscrewedhorses _Jarhon Thursday, February 2, 2017

The other side of the story (because netizens like to flip flop between which one they believe), is that Hwayoung was lazy and had a bad attitude, so the members obviously didn't like her. When T-ara became big, Hwayoung turned into a diva, thinking she was hot shit for being a celebrity, and there were several times she pretended to be hurt and/or sick when she was really doing something like getting her nails done, and she threw hissy fits and refused to perform. This is what led the other members to tweet about 'determination,' and eventually the discord became too much and she got kicked out. At this point she adopted a 'poor innocent me' persona, which people bought, and everyone turned on T-ara, coming up with a bunch of bullshit 'evidence' that they were bullying her. You can find a bunch of websites and posts supporting one side or the other, but honestly, the truth is probably somewhere in between the two. OP, you can do more research if you want and decide what you believe. Lord knows there's a million theories. TL;DR: The opposing theory to the bullying scandal is that Hwayoung was kind of a diva bitch, so the other members got pissed and she got kicked out, and then everyone blamed T-ara for it.

Sophia_Sone4ever unscrewedhorses Thursday, February 2, 2017

And @_jarhoon It's quite messy. I guess we never know the actual story unless someone reveal the whole thing. But haters and people really need to move on thou. I really do feel like one wasn't entire at fault and both the people involved were somewhat at fault. But yeah its Been 6 year, past is in the past. People including media and people involved should stop talking about or they might keep getting hated.

Sophia_Sone4ever Thursday, February 2, 2017

Btw thank to all of you for explaining things to me. Appreciate it 💖

AJLie _Jarhon Wednesday, February 15, 2017

that T-trash bitches really deserved it, bully is not a small matter <3

xloveseoul Thursday, February 2, 2017

Wow. I thought this was irrelevant from way back when? Stop bringing it up already. Zzz
