Heo Ji Woong served as one of the award presenters for the '2017 Gaon Chart K-Pop' awards alongside�Lee Chung Ah. While the two were talking, the camera briefly flashed to EXO's Sehun, causing all the EXO-Ls present to scream loudly.

Lee Chung Ah commented, "Heo Ji Woong, I think you'll have some sharp criticism for the music scene in the second half of 2016," referring to his famously honest criticisms on 'Ssul Jeon'. He replied, "I don't know about any criticism. I think I'm going to have a panic attack. Everyone has great vocal cords."
EXO-Ls fans were furious at the comment, saying the comment was rude. However, others aren't so sure as EXO-Ls are the ones who cut Heo Ji Woong's words off first with their cheering.
