The original final airing date of March 14 has been extended to March 21. The drama's team announced that it would be difficult to effectively deliver the remainder of the story through the originally planned 16 episodes in addition to viewers' avid requests for an extension. 'Defendant's past three episodes have recorded a whopping 20% in average viewership ratings with the most recent episode having recorded 22.2% in the highest ratings for the episode.
Starring Ji Sung,Girls'Generation's Yuri, Uhm Ki Joon, Kim Min Suk, Oh Chang Suk, Uhm Hyun Kyung, and more, the story revolves around a prosecutor who becomes framed for the murder of his wife, then loses his memory, and his attempt at revenge.
