In his recent interview with Yonhap News, Yang mentioned, "TWICE is quite popular these days" to J.Y. Park in the the 'KPOPSTAR' waiting room, "You're better at making girl groups". He added, "J.Y. Park is better at creating girl groups than me since he has a more feminine way of expressing things artistically." However, he mentioned, "JYP's Wonder Girls, TWICE and YG's 2NE1 and Black Pink both have different styles. There's diversity in girl groups and it's a good thing."
He added that "J.Y. Park is an innocent person... Unlike me who doesn't express much emotion, he is someone who likes to express his emotions a lot." Yang Hyun Suk also praised J.Y. Park for being a great producer and composer.
