On January 24, SM Entertainment posted a notice on official notice board stating that they are currently taking suggestions for Red Velvet's fan club name.
They posted, "First we would like to thank everyone for his/her love and support...the official name of Red Velvet's fanclub will be selected by the Red Velvet members."
Furthermore, "If chosen, the fan will receive a special autographed Red Velvet CD with a handwritten message from the girls."
The notice stated to send the name requests via email (redvelvet-fan@daum.net) starting now through February 5, 2017. Once decided, the fan club name will be revealed through Red Velvet's official home page.
