On December13, Kim Min Suk expressed his anger via Instagram,responding to circulating rumors claiming that the male celebrity in the video masturbating was him. The actor strongly emphasized that he is not the one in the video.

His label, Woollim Entertainment, also spoke up and announced that they plan to take legal actions against the malicious rumors.
Woollim Entertainment stated,

Spreading malicious, false rumors on and offline is a crime, and it also leads to mental harm to the artist and his family, label, as well as supportive fans.
