When asked how he worked on his character of a wealthy chaebol, Go Kyung Pyo relied, "I enjoy studying and analyzing the script, so I can understand the character. If you read the text a lot, you can imagine how the character is like...Also, when I read the script, I want  to portray the character according to the intention of the writer and the production team. The interviewer remarked, "Perhaps it is because of that personality, many people wanted the main female character to end up with Go Jung Won," and the actor responded to the comment by stating, "In a way, Go Jung Won is a fantastical person. He is someone who doesn't exist in real life."

When asked about getting less screen time as the two main leads began to fall in love, the actor shared his honest thoughts, saying, "I felt both disappointed and proud when fans started to complain that my airtime decreased because it meant that more people were paying attention to me. I am sure the writer felt bad. She told me, 'I'm sorry. Thank you. You did great.' I could understand everything she meant in those words. It was me who wanted to support her more."
