Korea made history today as its National Assembly voted to impeach President Park Geun Hye. Citizens who participated in peaceful protests for weeks celebrated the victory with fireworks in front of the Assembly building.

After the impeachment vote result was announced, many stars took to their social media accounts to show their interest, approval, and even excitement at the result.
Hyosung uploaded a selfie with a caption, "...234.56.7 What a great rhyme," referring to the number of votes. 234 voted for impeachment, 56 against, and 7 did not vote in the National Assembly.

Many stars have participated in the protests along with the citizens or have expressed their thoughts on social media prior to today. Even though they are celebrities, they are also citizens of Korea who care about the country's political well-being!
