Kim Soo Hyun and Hongki asked not to come to pro-bowler preliminary meeting due to safety concerns

Kim Soo Hyun and Hongki were invited to attend a preliminary meeting for the pro-bowler qualification competition. However due to concerns about the safety of the fans who would gather at the site, the pro-bowler committee has asked the two men and other celebrities to send in stand-ins. 

Prior to this decision by the committee, the celebrities planned to attend the preliminary meeting themselves and would have had received their equipment and uniforms checked, as well as a chance to study the competition site. 

Kim Soo Hyun and Hongki's agencies have officially announced that they will only attend the actual qualification events on October 22 and 23.

So how good are these two men at bowling? Kim Soo Hyun's coach, pro-bowler Park, said during an interview that his student is at least "mid-to-high in perforamnce." He explained, "[Kim Soo Hyun's] best score is 297, only 3 points away from perfect 300...But in bowling, the average is important, and his average is always above 190."
