INFINITE's Hoya clarifies misunderstandings about his poor relationship with his father

INFINITE's Hoya spoke up about his relationship with his father. 

In the past, it was revealed that Hoya and his father did not contact each other for 8 years after the Hoya dropped out of high school to become a singer. On the October 6 airing of 'Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon', Hoya stepped up to clarify misunderstandings on this matter.

When DJ Kim Shin Young asked if he really didn't talk to his dad for 8 years, and Hoya responded, "There are some parts that were exaggerated. I did talk to him time to time, but it just wasn't frequent." He also revealed a bit about his current relationship with his father, adding, "We're not awkward but also not close. I think it's because we are from Gyeongsang-do."
