Gong Myung opened up about his fellow 5urprise member Seo Kang Jun's popularity in an interview with E Daily.
While 5urprise consists of 5 members - Gong Myung, Seo Kang Jun, Lee Tae Hwan, Kang Tae Oh, and Yoo Il - it's no secret that Seo Kang Jun receives the most public attention. In fact, the group was frequently referred to as 'Seo Kang Jun's group'.
Gong Myung shared his thoughts on fellow the member's immense popularity, and said, "I did feel envious, but not anxious. After seeing that many people love hyung, I thought, 'Our hyung is so cool'. The envy also led to motivation, which created positive competition."
Recently, attention toward Gong Myung has been rising after his excellent performance in dramas 'Drinking Alone', 'Ddanddara', and more.
