Cha Tae Hyun might be gearing up for a small screen comeback.
A report came out on October 5 that he has chosen 'Section Chief Kim' as his new project, making his first return to the small screen in two years. However, his agency, Blossom Entertainment, stated the same day, "Cha Tae Hyun did receive a casting offer for KBS 2TV's new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Section Chief Kim,' but he has not been confirmed."

The drama will be written by Park Jae Bum of 'Good Doctor' and will focus on a former accountant becoming an everyday section chief at an ordinary company. It'll air early in January.
