Idol stars competed for the gold in archery on the September 15th MBC Chuseok special '2016 Idol Star Athletics Championships'!

Of all the groups that participated in the competition, it was G-Friend, EXID, MONSTA X, and GOT7 that made it to the final rounds. In the female competition, reigning champions EXID went head to head with unexpected competitors G-Friend. They were able to shoot very similar scores, but due to one error by G-Friend, it was EXID who reigned supreme.
As for the male idols, MONSTA X beat BTOB and GOT7 took down BTS to advance to the finals. In an amazing streak, MONSTA X member Minhyuk scored 10 points with 3 succeeding shots, giving MONSTA X the gold medal over GOT7.
In the end, EXID took gold, G-Friend took silver, and Lovelyz took bronze home, while MONSTA X took gold, GOT7 placed 2nd, and BTS placed 3rd. Congrats to EXID and MONSTA X!
