Jessi says everyone on 'Unpretty Rapstar' had attitude problems

The September 8 episode of 'Happy Together' progressed as a 'Show Me the Swag' special with Jung Jun Ha, San E, Jessi, C Jamm, and San E.

San E recalled the first season of 'Unpretty Rapstar,' saying that there was "no character like Jessi [on the show]." The rapper said, "She's an 'American' character. She suddenly busted in and started cursing at people left and right."

MC Yoo Jae Suk remarked, "I was so shocked after watching 'Unpretty Rapstar," and MC Jun Hyun Moo asked, "Did you all reconcile and such after the diss battles were over?"

Jessi responded, "Never. The girls all had attitude problems. Including myself. Also, it's a competition."

San E joked, "Everyone was a bit hesitant at first but Jessi added the fuel."

when i saw that first scene where she made all those silly remarks i was mostly shocked at the lack of depth of the show. And I had a hard time trying to understand why she thought it would be a good idea to portray herself like that. Since then she's regained some of her image imo but damn... it really didn't look well back in unpretty rapstar.

Uhh they're all actually friends? Have you seen on her insta before, she had picture of the whole group and was often with Jidam and Tymee (sometimes Cheetah as well who she even said was better rapper than her). And I think she's right and she even realized she had an attitude problem in this show, but hey this show is called for UNpretty rapstar after all. Better be a bitch than sugarcoating.

Jessi is the best thing that ever came out of unpretty rapstar. Everyone else is a try hard and is so cringe worthy to watch. They don't have any flow. Season 1 was good because of her every other season is not worth watching. I can't take it seriously.

is it just me who found San E very unlikable after Unpretty Rapstar? He's supposed to be the host, but he's never impartial and has such an air of self importance that just made me want to say "shut up". Also, since when does being American = saying curse words? Like Korean don't have curse words? Jessi is multicultural, whoever she is as a person, she has been shaped by both cultures. Jessi was not being "very American", she was being Jessi. She doesn't put on a fake personality just so that the general public will like her.

I do watch it, and it is the same Jessi. The difference is, Slam Dunk is not a competition and it's full of funny and kind ladies that Jessi seems to really get along with. They're also not trying to compete with each other. I've also seen her on other shows like Happy Together and Running Man...she's always the same Jessi. Even in UR she wasn't that rude, except maybe to that girl she compared to a Chihuahua who honestly had it coming.

3/4's of the rapper girls dont really have attitude problems, they have to put on that front for the rap battles mostly. a lot of the times they're pretty normal. its clear Jessi definitely had a attitude problem but to pretend they all did is not remotely true.
