Former 4minute member Jihyun is serious about expanding her acting career!

According to what various insiders in K-entertainment said, Jihyun might enter into an exclusive contract with Artist Company, set up by veteran actors Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung back in May. Currently, Lee Si Ah and Cha Rae Hyung are housed under the label.

Jihyun has some acting experience under her belt, having appeared in works including 'The Youth,' 'Dating DNA,' and 'My Little Baby.' If the rumors of Jihyun joining Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung's company are indeed true, then we can safely look forward to Jihyun in even more dramas and movies.

A rep of the agency stated on September 30, "Jihyun, formerly of 4minute, is currently in talks for an exclusive contract with sincerity.  The discussions are happening in a positive direction."

Best of luck to Jihyun!

What were their standards for signing her...? Obviously not her acting skills or her potential... and there are a ton and ton of rookie actresses who are prettier than her... I really want to know what they saw in her

I don't know about that.. Nobody will do business for a lost. I'm sure they saw potential in her either put her on some training or think she can make money. Why spend money on someone brand new and not just pick someone up who is already known in the industry? I don't understand what she did to make you dislike her to say she has no potentials

Always chicks who have to be so negative.

Since I'm in the days of searching for my job...I'm always so curious when hearing stories of people's job choices too.  Rooting for her.

I wish her good luck for her solo career. Jiyoon found already a new agency and works on her solo debut, hope to hear good news about Gayoon and Sohyun soon.

JiHyun is Age 26. Which, when KARA4 members chose to disband, HARA was Age 24. So, in some ways, the timing on 4MINUTE Group ending is not so bad. Probably, the 4MINUTE members would have chosen continue on for another two years as a Group. But also, 7 Years is a LONG run too as a K-pop Group. For JiHyun, the timing on this is probably pretty good overall. There is a *lot* of competition for these Acting Roles jobs. And more than a few successful female former K-pop Idols chasing those limited Acting Roles opportunities. It seems to take *awhile* to get 're-started' in Acting Roles, after the K-pop Idol situation ends. And there is no guarantee that a successful 'transition' will happen either. A lot of Acting Roles success seems to be the 'luck' of getting some kind of Role on a *successful* Movie or TV Series Show. Which, you can end up 'picking' some NOT so good Acting Role jobs, through no real fault of your own. Overall, Acting Roles work seems a fairly risky business when you are trying to get started in it.

4minute could possibly be a group where all members are successful after disbanding. We all know that Hyuna is Cube's golden girl. Ji Yoon is set for a debut sometime soon I believe. Ji Hyun looks to be successful with this agency. That leaves Ga Yoon, who could also be a successful solo artist, and So Hyun, who is still young and talented and has lots of potential to do awesome things!

they were truly so underrated because most of people only saw them as Hyuna and the rest, but 'the rest' have all got so much to offer! I wish them so much luck in their individual activities and I'm hoping to see them all soon
