Actor Uhm Tae Woong was summoned for his first questioning regarding the ongoing sexual assault investigation against him.
On September 1, Uhm Tae Woong was photographed in front of the Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province. He responded to reporter questions by simply saying, "It'll be revealed through the police investigation."

The actor was reported to be looking thinner than usual, and he was also spotted wearing his wedding ring. His wife is currently known to be about 5 weeks pregnant with their second child.
A rep from the police stated, "Neither the plaintiff nor defendant's additional questionings have been confirmed. It'll be decided after the result of Uhm Tae Woong's questioning. Plaintiff A calmly explained the situation to police. After filing a report on August 20, A once against revealed her side to police. We cannot reveal the evidence we acquired."
