Kim Yeon Kyung brought up meeting Jo In Sung with the help of middleman Park Kyung Rim, who set up for the both of them to appear on her radio show together.

Kim Yeon Kyung said, "Honestly, I was so surprised to see Jo In Sung, but I was sad that I didn't properly get to express how I felt. I couldn't even eat right after that. I reacted impassively so [Jo In Sung] might have misunderstood and thought I didn't like him."
