Oh My Girl's JinE was revealed by WM Entertainment to be suffering from anorexia, hence she will be stopping promotions so that she could recover her health.  According to the agency, she had continuously gotten treatment at the hospital because of her anorexic state since debut, but the company finally decided to just pull her out of promotions so she could focus entirely on getting better.  Although WM expressed concern for their artist, netizens did not buy it, blaming the agency for her condition.

Netizens relayed their pity with, "Don't force them to go on diets," "How much the agency must have pressured her to diet that she got anorexia," "Ah.... how could it be anorexia... I feel so sorry for her; is this reality for Korean idols... What's wrong with being a bit plump?" "This makes me think of the video in which Seolhyun got in trouble for being over 50 kg (~110 lbs) kekekeke Must be so hard for female celebs," "I knew since the company released three albums in four months.  If they can't maintain their singers in any other way than this, then why do they invest in singers like this...  So disappointed in WM!" and more, pointing fingers at the agency.

What do you make of the netizens' words?

this netizen are so flip floppy!!! 1st they like oh heavier idol they should make them lose weight. now this breaks out they want to say what's wrong with having weight on you? the company should not be the blame but these damn fans

Netizen should blame themselves. They are always the first to attack female idol when they aren't " skinny enough ".

she got diagnosed she had anorexia symptom from closer era. and at that time, when the news come out i got read the reason why she went on diet, is because she saw herself on debut pictorials ( ithink photos in their album) and she felt she need to lose weight. if she is the one who wants to diet, we cant blame wm for this. i think the article is from allkpop as well

i bet the same netizens that are saying 'what is wrong with being a little plump?' are the ones that shamed red velvet's joy, mamamoo's hwasa, girls day's mina and got7's yugyeom because they weren't stick thin at all times. the hypocrisy in such allegations are too crazy to even name it...

The ones the netizens should be blaming are themselves. While it is true that they've had 3 back to back promotions, I'm pretty sure it's moreso the fact that she's scared of netizens harping on the fact that she's not super thin or doesn't weigh a certain amount. If you look at the amount of hate stars have received because of that, I would be scared too

Just shows the difference between knetz and netizens from the rest of the world. When I was reading the comments on the initial AKP post, pretty much all the fans were saying well done to WM for allowing her to have a much needed break and not putting her health behind potential profit, yet Korean fans look at it the other way and blame the company for her anorexia.

It's disgusting to think that the same people complaining (not all of them) would bash her if she was gaining wait. There is no satisfaction in this world :/
