One Hong Kong media outlet recently reported that an individual skirmish between a Korean fan and a Hong Kong Chinese fan, both attendees at a GOT7 concert, has become a heated topic.

Back on July 30, GOT7 visited Hong Kong to greet fans with 'GOT7 1st CONCERT - FLY IN HONG KONG'. During the event, one Korean fan, said to be the home master of a fan site called 'I GOT U MARK', put her large DSLR camera on the shoulder of one Hong Kong Chinese fan standing in front of her in order to take photos. The Hong Kong Chinese fan responded by attempting to move the camera off of her shoulder, and in the process, knocked the Korean fan's glasses down. Supposedly, in retaliation, the Korean fan began grabbing the other fan by the hair and hit her.

Afterward, an acquaintance of the Hong Kong Chinese fan uploaded a recount of the event on SNS, accompanied by video footage. Media outlets further relayed that the Hong Kong Chinese fan has pressed charges to the police for the brawl, and was currently waiting for x-ray results from the hospital.

The Korean fan is said to have also uploaded their own account of the event on their Weibo, arguing that they had not been the one to start the brawl. But after several fans flocked to the Weibo about the topic, the fan deleted the post.

You know, if that fansite girl wanted a tripod, she should have just brought one with her, not use someone's shoulder. I mean, if they asked, then idk, but I'm guessing in this situation she didn't. I would have shaken the camera off too.

You do realize Bambam apologized right...

kero_chan Knigin Tuesday, August 2, 2016

how exactly were they racist? Please enlighten me

bluequail kero_chan Tuesday, August 2, 2016

One of Mark's (horrible) friends told Bambam that n*gga was an english word for friend, and encouraged Bambam to say it so he did not realizing the true meaning behind it. He apologized informally via instagram but JYPE won't let him formally apologize or use any SNS...

U say banbams racist for saying nigga? Well then all black people all racist because we say it all the time. Hint hint I'm black. I say the 'n word' all the time but I'm not racist. We use it as a friendly term, us black people. But I guess skin tone now determined what you mean now a days. No he has no business saying that but what do you expect from a FOREIGNER?! Instead of calling him a racist cubt and getting mad at him for making a mistake why don't you try to educate him. And yourself while your at it. We spend so much time in this world bringing people down.... And your going to say 'oh of course your taking his side, he's your bias.' no he's not. He's cute and everything but my heart belongs to mark then Jackson then yugyeum. And FYI If he's a cunt then your a bigot, discriminating against IGOT7!!!!

I think the problem is that a lot of people see the "n-word" as an African-American exclusive term. Like only certain types of people (or people in that culture) are allowed to use that word. And seeing as how the US is sooooooo racially charged up nowadays (according to media), it's not surprising that loads of people are flashing "TRIGGERED" sirens and then tearing the poor boy up... like he knew the entire history of America's slang and of the people who use them and deliberately said it to be hurtful. Like other people haven't used hurtful words in other languages not their own because "LOL FUNNEH" or because some dumbass told them "Oh yeah, this is a good word to use!" I highkey think that most of the people bitching about Bam are pretty narrow-minded despite all attempts at trying to seem open and accepting and "OH OH THERE IS A RACIALLY CHARGED WORD ALERT LET US BE OFFENDED EN MASSE BECAUSE CLEARLY EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS HOW BAD IT IS WAHHHHH" like calm down, this is why people don't like Americans. -_- (I would rant more, but it's... 2 am and I'm tired... OTL)

coco_puffs Tuesday, August 2, 2016

Better yet, they should put up a sign: "Don't Feed The Bears", "Stop", "Trespassers Will Be Shot", "Survivors Will Be Shot Again", "Whites Only", "Maximum Capacity", B/

I'm telling you these venues need to start tossing people out. If someone is being rude with a big ass fucking camera there ass should be taking pictures from the outside. I'm close to saying these cameras should be outright banned. Take longer for people getting into the venue looking for these things but look at whats happening across the board and not just GOT7. I'm sorry to the people who have cameras and can use them as grown ups.
