An unnamed girl group and staff are under fire for trespassing into a natural monument to film a music video.

The girl group and their staff reportedly crossed the laid-out boundaries of a nature reserve in order to film an MV. Though there is a set area to take pictures, it's reported the girl group and staff went beyond, stepping on the natural sand dunes that are one of the main attractions of the nature reserve.

It's reported the caretakers of the natural monument warned the girl group and staff multiple times to leave the area through a speaker system, and nearby visitors also openly criticized the MV shooting. However, both the girl group members and staff are said to have completely ignored the warnings and continued filming.

A Channel A reporter also stated that instead of being apologetic, some staff members complained that everyone was stepping beyond the boundaries and they had permission to film at the location. In the above video however, the natural monument caretaker's requests for the girl group and crew to leave the area can be clearly heard.

What are your thoughts on this controversy?

Cosmic girls cosmic girl *shaking head* when will y'all get a break 😅

i feel like the girl group shouldn't be blame because they're just following order of the company, they don't have control over where to film. I do believe they're still at fault for doing it. I don't know how to explain it, but like they shouldn't get so much backlash, I really dont know how to say it. I guess my main point is the group dont have control over their MV. Pls correct if i'm wrong.

Possibly the fault of Yuehua Entertainment. I suspect they were told where they were allowed to film, but the Chinese drew their own nine dash line...

A simple apology is not enough, they knew what they were doing, plus people told them to get out...and they didn't, now they are like "we're sorry" and everything is ok

Koralee87 ramdn Saturday, August 6, 2016

yeah, an apology is not enough. we should chop off their hands or jail them for life.

cabbagejuice ramdn Saturday, August 6, 2016

it wasnt a simple apology tho... first of all the apologized in like record time so they obviously felt bad, second of all they said they arent gonna use the scenes they filmed there. what else can they do (thats reasonable)?

donate money to restore the damage caused.

earthtinkerbell Saturday, August 6, 2016

It was Starship Entertainment. They were filming WJSN'S comeback. They already apologized and they will be editing the scenes out.

If they requested permission and received permission then everything is ok. if it was a misunderstanding it's not the group's fault. It's the agency that messed up.

Monochrome94 Saturday, August 6, 2016

Apparently there's miscommunication about the permission to shoot there and the agency involved already apologized. Sort of misreported from the media as well. Tho it is the director and staff mistakes, the one suffered here is the group because of this bad report although they did nothing wrong, they just followed instructions to film. I feel bad for them.

intricate Monochrome94 Saturday, August 6, 2016

well.. the protected area also suffered obviously.. there's a good reason people aren't allowed in there.

hellogrey chingchongUrbae Saturday, August 6, 2016

I read on other article and it says WJSN..

sheillalaa Saturday, August 6, 2016

it's WJSNThey're already apologize

Koralee87 Saturday, August 6, 2016

it would be silly to blame the girl group members, especially if they are rookies - they don't have a say in anything.  Music video filming and production is usually contracted out to an outside company and that company is responsible for all direction/securing permits etc.
