On July 1, fans noticed that a new, mysterious Instagram account was opened, reportedly by Starship Entertainment. Afterward, various Starship artists including MONSTA X, Cosmic Girls, Sharp Gun, and IOI's Yoo Yeon Jung followed the account, confirming suspicions that the account really was related to Starship Entertainment.

The Instagram account's name is simply "Y Teen". The 9 posts uploaded on Y Teen's account show a logo on a blue and pink background, with the words "Coming soon 2016 July".
Many fans are hoping that the new account will mean former 'Produce 101' contestant and IOI member Yoo Yeon Jung's debut, or a group including Yeon Jung. Netizen comments included, "Hopefully it's 'y' for Yeon Jung!", "A Yeon Jung solo?", "It could be a unit?", "Maybe it's a Starship summer album...", and more.
