It was previously reported that Jun Hyun Moo was receiving steroids due to throat issues.
On the most recent broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Good Morning FM Jun Hyun Moo', the DJ announced he would be leaving his post, saying, "I've come to my limit. Since April, the issue in my throat doesn't seem to be healing. They [the doctors] told me it would be difficult to continue DJ-ing."
Jun Hyun Moo added, "I received so much love from my listeners through the radio, and it was because of them that I was able to hold out this long. It doesn't mean that I'm leaving radio for good. It's always open."
Comedian Noh Hong Chul will be taking Jun Hyun Moo's place beginning May 30.
