At a recent award ceremony which was held in Shenzhen, China, EXO's Lay took home a total of two awards!
The idol was conferred honors for 'Year's Best Film Soundtrack' and 'Most Popular Rookie' at the ceremony, and in the interview following the ceremony, Lay expressed his wish for fans to hear the music he composes.
Tearfully, Lay told the press, "I will for sure be releasing a solo album this year. I will advance into not only the Chinese market but also the global market."

Meanwhile, EXO was conferred awards for 'Most Popular Foreign Group' and 'Year's Best Foreign Group.' Congratulations to both EXO and Lay on their wins!
