When the interviewer credited Cao Lu for more people knowing FIESTAR's name nowadays, the idol refuted with, "It's because Yezi appeared on 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' first and opened doorways for me that I was able to even get interview or meeting opportunities with Producers or variety seniors. I just rode along with Yezi's popularity."
On her role in FIESTAR, Cao Lu also added, "I have a great desire for FIESTAR as a whole to become bigger, not just me by myself. So when I go on variety programs, I make sure to introduce myself as FIESTAR's Cao Lu. Even though it's been 5 years since we've debuted, we've never placed 1st on a music show yet. We'd love to do that this year."
