Recently Suzy and Baekhyun collaborated in a duet which slayed the music charts.
This first collaboration of SM and JYP Entertainment received great attention even before the release as the two hottest stars from each company were featured.
The results of the duet song "Dream" were magnificent. "Dream" remained #1 on various music charts for two straight weeks. It also took trophies on 'Music Bank', and 'Inkigayo' without any stage performance. Gaon Chart gave the song two wins with #1 on both digital and download charts.
The many wins means many awards. The wins on music programs gave Suzy and Baekhyun several trophies. Many were wondering who would be taking the trophies home.
According to music show associates, both SM and JYP wanted the other company to keep the trophy. The two companies even offered it to Mystic Entertainment who created the song. However, Mystic claimed it would not be right for them to take the trophies.
In the end, the trophies were evenly distributed between the SM and JYP. The collaboration of "Dream" ended in a happy ending, and a win win for all.
