On the March 15 airing of talk variety 'Pumpkin Seed', comedian Jung Joo Ri shared what it was like to tell her parents that she had become pregnant before marriage.
The comedian relayed, "My father knew that I was preparing for marriage, but when I told him the news that I was pregnant, he seemed shocked. He also cried a lot. He scolded me, saying that my mother had done the same."
She then added, "Now, he's very happy about it," and also commented that her fans may have been even more shocked than her father, as she had never even informed them about dating anyone.
Not all parents may act in such a way, but the comedian's personal account may be helpful advice for some!
