Jeon So Mi, a JYP trainee who first got herself known through survival program 'Sixteen' which aired last year, was criticized for her lackluster vocal performance by Brown Eyed Girl's JeA on the January 29 broadcast of 'Produce 101.'
Jeon So Mi, who landed herself in the grade 'A' class, and won first place for two weeks in a row, got the opportunity to receive a vocal lesson from JeA. It turned out that JeA had quite a lot to say about Jeon So Mi's singing, giving the trainee a good chiding for her slightly shaky vocals.

JeA advised, "[Your singing] is very unstable. Your emotion is all flat. Every song [you sing] sounds really insincere. When that's the case, then the person who's listening can't concentrate."
In her interview, Jeon So Mi relayed, "I think that I have a big weight (JYP) on my shoulders. People have a high expectation of me, and because I was on a program once I felt the need to do even better, so I was worried and distraught."
