KBS to cancel 'National Singing Contest' to broadcast about former president's passing + SBS to record 'Inkigayo' like usual

Following former president Kim Young Sam's passing, KBS 1TV�will be cancelling 'National Singing Contest'.�

SEE ALSO: 'Show! Music Core' canceled on January 3rd as MBC airs ‘Gayo Daejejeon’ rebroadcast


The timeslot will instead broadcast news about the former president's death, as SBS�is doing in place of 'Inkigayo' and 'UtChatSa'.�The staff of the show posted, "Because of a special news report, the Busan-Kijang episode will not air. We will announce when it will air. Please show understanding."

Also, even though 'Inkigayo' will be cancelled, according to VIXX's official Twitter, the recording will still go as scheduled, meaning there will probably be a winner as well.�

We once again pray the former president rest in peace.
