An outrageous incident involving a 40-year-old man threatening elementary school students and getting violent with a teacher was reported recently.�
According to South Jeolla Province's Office Of Education, this past October 16, a 46-year-old man identified as�Im trespassed into a third grade classroom wielding a large hammer, looking for the student that allegedly hit his niece.�
It was reported that Im struck one of the two teachers that tried to restrain him with his elbow.�

The police, who arrived at the scene after receiving reports from the school, booked Im on charges of assault and intimidation.�
Im was said to have testified that he became angered after his niece told him that she was struck by one of her classmates.�
The school arranged for the students, who had suffered significant psychological shock, to receive counseling.�
