Yang Hyun Suk said, "After iKON was formed, the members have continuously created nearly 50 songs. From the repetitive training of bringing songs and having them returned, they're currently in a state of malice now. They've trained again and again in writing lyrics and composing."
He added, "They've overcome the training, and now every member in iKON has the basic skills in writing lyrics and composing songs. That's why finally this summer the members are at [the level] to be able to write their own songs, and we started to set up a [debut] path for them. That's when their debut date of September 15 was confirmed. YGE artists don't simply sing songs. We follow a method where our artists can create songs too."

That means iKON's songs in their debut album are guaranteed to be good. We can't wait to hear them!
