Girl's Day's Minah to take on a new acting challenge in MBC's 'Sweet Family'

In Korea, smaller cable channels like tvN and JTBC are stepping it up and doing incredibly well, but the three�main broadcasting stations have been MBC, SBS, and KBS for a long time, so it's especially an honor when an idol gets cast in a drama under one of those companies!

Girl's Day's Minah will, as a matter of fact, be taking a big step by acting in an MBC drama! Her agency rep stated on September 18, "Minah will be appearing in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sweet Family.' �She's only been confirmed as a cast member; the scheduling days are not out yet."

In the drama, she will be playing the daughter of Baek Ki Bum (played by Jung Woong In) and Lee Do Kyung (played by Yoo Sun). �Her character is a female high school student and an idol trainee named Baek Hyun Ji. �It's set to air in November following the completion of 'She Was Pretty'!
