Shim Hyung Tak's mother attested to her son's kind-heartedness, digging up the unfortunate story of how everything went downhill after their family was scammed. She revealed that she had gathered a bunch of sleeping pills, implying that she had intended to permanently escape the harsh realities of their hardships. She even wrote out a suicide note, but her son had found the letter before she had actually thought about what she was doing. Shim Hyung Tak, shocked at the thought about what his mom was planning to do, had swallowed the sleeping pills instead.�
The actor explained his actions, saying, "I didn't like that my mother was thinking such extreme thoughts so I swallowed around ten pills without thinking. I began to hallucinate. So I walked to the ER and told them I ate sleeping pills". His mom revealed that when she arrived at the hospital, her son said to her, "Mom don't do that again. You have us your family, let's gain strength and live on."�
The actor and his parents then both started to shed tears as they reflected back during their hard times, ringing the hearts of his guests.
