On July 16, Mir appeared on an episode of Channel W's 'Battle of the Beauties' which focused on celebrities who were formerly plump but were able to follow successful diets and achieve a slimmer weight and appearance. Mir was given a past photo of actress Kang So Ra to judge accordingly. According to him, her prim and proper appearance presented the perfect image of a model student! "She looked like she was first in her class. It almost looks like all she did was study," he commented. With her glasses, perfectly starched uniform, and proper posture, it's hard not to disagree!

The photos also show her looking visibly plumper than she is today. However, Mir noted her amazing weight loss progress, as she has blossomed into her beautiful and slim self. "Today she became like this," he said with a proud smile as he referenced her slender and shapely figure.�
