MAMAMOO had the showcase for their upcoming mini-album, 'Pink Funky,' on June 18 at the Ilchi Art Hall, where they talked about their thoughts on their comeback and their promotion plans.
There are a lot of girl groups coming out this summer, so the company was asked which ones they considered MAMAMOO's rivals. The company responded, "We have not chosen just one group as our rival and thought about it. Right now, they're all rivals to us. As we have the company's life on the line, the CEO is also sweating profusely. We cannot choose one. They're all so outstanding that we need to push out our own distinct business card."
Solar added, "Rather than calling them our rival, our past music releases overlapped a lot with AOA's. Seeing people I saw in the past is actually welcoming. I think we will feel closer to each other."
The group also said, "We heard there would be a lot of senior and rookie girl groups coming out; we will work hard to remain alive. We're still rookies, so we consider it an honor to stand on stage with amazing and cool seniors."

Also, Solar was asked if she had been 'Bingsoo-ya Patbingsoo-ya' on MBC's singing competitive program, 'Mask King.' She replied, "I find it very grateful that you're very interested. The identity will be unveiled through the broadcast," raising curiosity.
MAMAMOO revealed, "Today makes it exactly one year since we debuted. We worked on a lot of things and showed a lot of different performances, but we want to give that 50 out of 100 perfect points," expressing their desire to fill up the future time with all the songs and performances they still want to do.
