It was previously reported that After School's UEE was considering an offer for the drama 'True Romance', and there's now good news, she's decided to take on the role!
UEE will play the lead role of Jang Yoon Ha. This rounds off the leading roles for the drama, as Sung Joon will play the male lead, and Lim Ji Yeon and ZE:A's cutie Hyungsik will play the secondary leads.
The drama is said to be a 'mystery youth melodrama' about a girl who hides the fact that she's a chaebol's daughter to find true love.
UEE spoke through her company Pledis Entertainment and said, "I'm happy to be able to meet such a good project and have the chance to be able to act in it. I will work really hard. Please look after me. I ask for a lot of interest and support."
