EXID's Solji talked about how she was discouraged from being an idol on the May 6 episode of 'Weekly Idol'.
Solji was asked about a sad moment from her past, and she answered, "It was during the time I was part of the ballad group 2NB. I was working two jobs because I was also a vocal trainer, but the section chief told me, 'Solji, I don't think you're right as an idol." She also added that she was told, "You're supposed to look like KARA's Hara at your age."
The EXID vocalist continued, "I was having a rough time mentally then. After that, I decided to work even harder."
