Highly anticipated girl group, 'The Ark', are finally giving us a peek at what they have in store for us, and it's quite a twist from what many of us were probably expecting!
As you know, the group has been referred to as a 'hip hop girl group' before their debut and they solidified that image through some teaser images as well as their awesome dance cover to BTS. However, it seems the five members, Yuna Kim, Jeon Minju, Halla, Jung Yoojin and Chun Jaein, actually have a softer and more lighthearted song coming our way!

Their debut song "The Light" is by the producing team Iconic Sounds, and it already sounds promising with its groovy R&B feel! Like the upbeat feel of the song, the lyrics also convey a positive message of learning about friendship and love.
Veteran actress Jo Min Soo also stars in the video to help express the storyline of the video which revolves around a mother losing her daughter (portrayed by member Halla).
Their debut song will drop on the 10th and the girls will hold their debut stage through 'Inkigayo' on the 12th!
