Former Girls' Generation member Jessica is reported to have said that she understands people now that she's a little older.
On April 28, 'Elle' Taiwan held an interview with Jessica, chief designer of 'BLANC & ECLARE', on the topic of fashion and life. She said, "I'm now in my stage as a woman. However, I'll always be a girl. Before, I focused on my own thoughts and opinions, but now that I'm older, I'm beginning to understand other people more and more. I can now sympathize with why people act the way they do."
Jessica also commented on her longtime, fan-given nickname "Ice Princess," saying, "To fans, I may have seemed cold, and that doesn't make me feel too good. The people around me say that I laugh very well. I like joking around too, so they say I seem a little foolish. I personally think that I'm cheerful."
She also opened up about her life as a designer, "Coco Chanel never followed the trend. I hope that my brand doesn't fit in with trends either. She was a big influence on me."
