Boyfriend's Youngmin is expanding his ground beyond music and variety, as he's been cast in the upcoming KBS drama 'Protect the Family'!
His company Starship Entertainment said, "We ask for a lot of interest and love for Youngmin's first acting role as he becomes an acting-dol."
Youngmin will take on the role of Go Ye Won's younger brother. He meets Lee Hye Su, an aspiring singer, by coincidence and ends up living in a rooftop apartment with her. His character is from a rich family and he has exceptional talent in music. It seems like this is right up in Youngmin's alley, and his idol background will help him in the role!
